RARE SQUIRREL HUNTERS CIVIL WAR DISCHARGE

a rare document given by the governor of ohio to Wiilian Norton of the 115th ohio. served in the defenses of Cincinnatti Sept. 1862 to defend from the confederate army. These dicharges were only presented to an elite group of defenders. Private Norton was returning from war on the Saltana near Memphis when the boiler blew killing over 1900 war vets returning to Cincinnati. Full history is framed with this rare discharge. This is the only one ever seen with the Saltana relation attached..
