* Perryville battle field pick-up *
A real neat post civil war pick up that came according to the seller from a barn outside Perryville Kentucky. This hub has 12 spokes and a old painted lettering stating the battle of Perryville. this hub is 15 pounds and solid oak. 2 1/4 axle bore, 15 inches tall, and a 5 1/2 band This displays well on a table or mantle. A must for the artillery collector. I have seen several of these axles that are actually a ambulance hub and not a 12 pounder cannon hub. My gut feeling after looking at close-ups of carriage axles think this is closer to the ambulance or meal wagon. However several confederate carriages look exactly like this also. You be the judge.
